Could I get my tax form sent to me in the mail? I cannot download them on this phone and have no printer also.

My earned income for the past 9 years was under $12,000. I'm 72 years old and have been getting social security all this time do I really need to file? I wanted the non filers form not the regular ones.

After you file

So sorry I meant to write my unearned income was under $12,000 a year for 9 years on social security and do I really need to file a tax return? I only wanted to file a non filer's return because of the stimulus payments.

After you file

I DO NOT HAVE A PRINTER—WHAT CAN I DO?

We cannot solve your printer problem for you  If you do not have a working printer, you can access your account from any computer that has internet access and print your return.  So perhaps you need to see if a friend or relative can let you print from a computer with a printer.  Or print it at a UPS place or Staples, etc.

You say you only want to file for stimulus payments.   If you receive Social Security then you should have received the EIP payments from the IRS automatically unless someone claimed you as a dependent.   Did someone claim you?

" I wanted the non filers form not the regular ones."

There is not a "non-filer" form for 2020.   If you need to file to get the 1st and/or 2nd stimulus payment you file a Form 1040 and use the recovery rebate credit in the Federal Review section.

The stimulus check is an advance on a credit you can receive on your 2020 tax return.  If something went wrong or you did not get the stimulus check in 2020, you can get it when you file your 2020 return in early 2021

The Recovery Rebate Credit will be found in the FEDERAL REVIEW section. ( you should see "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount”)  If you are eligible it will end up on line 30 of your 2020 Form 1040.

Make sure that you enter ALL of the stimulus money received for the 1st and 2nd stimulus for yourself, your spouse and your children.
