Unemployment credit on an amended return - how to remove it

I filed my return March 5 and did not include the Unemployment Credit on the filed return. I just received my refund and it appears that the IRS did not adjust for this credit as the refund was "close" to what my filed amount was.  For some reason they refunded me $45 more than what was on my filed return (which would not be the difference including the UEC).  Not sure how or what they used to come up with this difference but now I need to file an amendment to get the UEC and adjust some additional taxed amounts.  When I pull up my filed return it automatically inputs the unemployment credit so I cannot get my return to be what I originally filed! How do I remove this so that I can do a proper amended return??  HELP!

After you file

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,

AND, to find your AGI next year.

Since TurboTax has updated the program to calculate your return according to the new law,

I don't see how it's possible to revert to what was originally filed.

You will have to compensate manually.

After you file

one way to compensate is to add $10,200 to your  1099-G for unemployment.

Then your AGI and tax should be what you filed.

After you file

As soon as I add 10,200 to my 1099 the credit increased by the same amount giving $0 income!!
