I was thinking the same thing. Its no way everyone is being audited and with the government being shutdown for a few days after tax season started that made everything delayed. That’s what I’m thinking

I asked a representative why couldn’t they tell if I’d receive a letter or not and he said it’s too soon and each one under review has to be assigned to someone and they will be the ones to determine if any additional information is needed. If not the refund will be processed with no further action needed

Transcripts and it has a code 570 and 971 I believe. But the girl that called multiple times got a date for tomorrrow

Well I finally got to talk to someone and she said it’s under review (audit) and to give it 45 days from March 4th. Smh this person that called 6 times and has a date, what did they do exactly ?

I got the same reason as last Saturday and have called 4 times this week and have been told something different every time. And now they said I am missing a w2 from an employer. And now it’s delayed longer and could take up to 45 days and I should expect a letter. This code makes no sense and I have been lied to every time I call
