Tax refund

I can't get any information from the IRS on my refund either through their website or through phone. I filed electronically on 3/30/2020 for the calendar year 2019. On 9/2/2020, I received a letter saying they needed to verify my identity; which I immediately follow their instructions to do so. Then, on 10/26/2020, I received a letter stating they needed to review my tax return, and it could take up to 60 days. Since it has been well over 60 days, I've been trying to check the status of my refund; but both the website and the phone (recorded procedures) tell me that they can't give me any information on my refund. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do next?

You can contact your local IRS office. See this IRS website for local IRS offices - http://www.irs.gov/uac/Contact-Your-Local-IRS-Office-1 or call 1-844-545-5640 to set up an appointment
Or you may want to contact a Taxpayer Advocate in your area. See this IRS website for Taxpayer Advocate in your area and a toll free number - http://www.irs.gov/Advocate/Local-Taxpayer-Advocate
