My taxes were accepted on feb 6th is there any kind of delay?

After you file

Yes, there is a delay for returns that have the Earned Income Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit.  Taxpayers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit may experience a refund hold. According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue these refunds before mid-February. The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2019, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.

You can check the IRS website Where's My Refund for the status of your Federal Refund. If you are receiving a refund by check, it can take 3 to 6 weeks to receive.

I am I filled February 6th and it says still processing and a date will be given when available.

After you file

@gurl20018 Since it the IRS has your return and they are processing it, the only thing you can do is wait until they finish and give you a date of your refund.
