Is there anyway I can get a copy of my 2017 return. I filed it at my local H&R office and now it is lost! I want to file online this year, but I really need your help!!!
I have used my local H&R Block for at least the last 3 years. I was going to attempt Turbo Tax this year but I have zero documents from 2017. With the tax laws changing each year, it'a a nightmare.
I would have to assume all tax files are stored. Can you help me, please??

After you file
TurboTax does not have access to any tax returns that were filed with another company for a prior year. You would have to get the copy of your 2017 tax return from the company where you filed or from the IRS.
The IRS can provide you either a copy of your return for a fee, or a tax transcript of your return for free. You can also request a Wage and Income transcript from the IRS which will show their copies of all of your income documents for a particular tax year.
Use this link for more information about requesting the transcripts from the IRS: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
