How do I switch how I want to receive my refund from check to direct deposit?

After you file

If you have already submitted your return, you cannot change the method in which you receive your refund.

I dont know about that.im not challenging you. Tax knowledge but i was on the irs web site and it says that in the next cpl weeks,now 1 week in,,if you filed your taxes via the mail paper prinnted and did not put direct depot and bank info that they are opening a portal that people can put theyre bank info and dir.depot.option.only thing im questioning is the turbo tax visa has a number you call for balance and it gave me an account number and routing number along with where the bank is located with name of bank.green dot.so can we give that info for direct depot and if so is my name showing as the name on the account.if so it seems like there is no reason it wouldnt wrk as its all the qualifying info u need.stay safe and be happy😁😊

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.
