That's false. They have a form in which you can submit direct deposit information, but only if you aren't required to file. It wouldn't be that complicated to allow all people who need to provide direct deposit information to provide it. I'm just screwed because TurboTax wants to be lazy and not provide that outlet.
And I would prefer not to wait months for the IRS to do anything, because I doubt they would be in any kind of rush.
