I understand your frustration. TurboTax prepares your return but has no involvement in processing returns. These decisions are made solely at the discretion of the IRS. In regards to the CP05 letter, I was able to find this information:
Why is my return being reviewed?
We select some returns to examine so we can determine whether income, expenses, and credits are reported correctly. This doesn’t mean you made an error or were dishonest.
