Is your return in a pending status? If so, the status should update in approximately 24-48 hours but it could be longer. Unfortunately, once the return is submitted, TurboTax has no control over how fast the return is accepted. You should receive an email and/or text confirmation once the return is accepted. After the return is accepted, the next status you are waiting for is for the return to be approved. The IRS estimates that most refunds will be sent within three weeks after your e-filed returns are accepted. Many refunds will come sooner. You can check the status of your refund by going to www.irs.gov/refunds. You can also click here to see a chart with estimated refund dates based on the date your return was accepted by the IRS.
