If you have contacted the IRS and they stated that your review will take 60 days then you will need to wait for them to provide you with additional information. TurboTax does not have additional information to provide to you unfortunately.

The IRS has indicated the 4464C letters are part of the screening program to combat stolen identity refund fraud and do not mean the taxpayer has been selected for audit.  Both the IRS and the Department of Justice DOJ Tax Division have increased their efforts to combat stolen identity refund fraud.

Have you seen an update yet? My transcripts say Processing Date of today 3/09/2020 and I want to know what that means or what to expect.

During processing, the government reviews your refund. During the review process, they look for math errors on your return and they also check to see if you owe back taxes, unpaid child support, or other debts. Once processing is complete, and nothing additional is needed,  the Internal Revenue Service will update the Where's My Refund? site with an estimated date of deposit. The IRS issues most refunds in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review.

Ugh. I am in the same boat! This is so awful! I have tried to call too and you cannot speak to a live person. Maybe try calling the TAS. It is listed on their website. They are supposed to advocate for you.

Same problem. I absolutely refuse to believe that we just have to except this. My 60 days was up today as well. No direct deposit and no one to contact..there has to be an answer somewhere. People rely on our refunds.

Unfortunately the only ones who can check on your refund is the IRS. You can continue to try and contact them by clicking here

Until they re-open, they will be the only ones who can check into their systems. You can also try to reach out to your local IRS office to see if anyone is in the office for the day.

Have you gotten any answers since then I know it’s only been a day and since we haven’t been able to speak to someone or received any correspondence since does that effect our stimulus checks too?
