I filed Jan 12, accepted Jan 27 recieved a letter 4464C Feb 19 stating I didnt have to do anything but I was "randomly selected" for 60 day review. So now I've been sitting here waiting. I saw other people with the same letter that got their refund already and I'm a bit jealous but I still sit here patiently. I tried to order my transcripts but it says some info I'm inputting doesnt match to verify my identity so I gave up on that.

Call the IRS:   1-800-829-1040  hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday

When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.

So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info).  Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.

Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".

Then press 3 "for all other questions."

Then press 2 "for all other questions."

- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don’t enter anything.

- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.

Then press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.

It should then transfer you to an agent.

Is this forum allowing for us to post numbers again? Just asking because I see the full IRS toll-free number listed here but lately the numbers had to be spelled out.

(Let me try it to answer my own question in case I don't get a response) [phone number removed]

I guess not. @Milliesmart0112 Did you do something special to make the number you posted appear here?
