After you file

If you have already submitted your return, it is too late to correct zip code. After you select Transmit Returns Now, your e-file goes to pending status, where it will stay until it's either been accepted or rejected by the government. If your return gets rejected because of the incorrect zip code, you will receive an email from TurboTax and you'll be able to make your changes before you re-submit your return.
