What does it mean if you've pre-qualified for the cash advance loan and when and how do you know if they approved the loan after you've been accepted by the IRS

Pre-qualifying just means you meet the basic requirements to move forward with application.... refund amount, return acceptance, etc. Once irs accepts return you're then supposed to receive email regarding exact approval amount or denial within 48hrs.

If you qualify for Refund Advance and are approved for the Turbo Visa Debit Card, you’ll be notified by email of the approved amount and you’ll be able to start spending online, typically within 48 hours of the IRS accepting your return. If you don't qualify, you'll receive an email confirming you won’t receive a Refund Advance. It will include information about why you were not eligible for a Refund Advance. Your federal refund (minus any other agreed upon fees) will be loaded onto a Turbo Visa Debit Card. Be sure to check your inbox as well as your junk/spam folder for the email. For more detailed information, please click here

Does your credit score determine approval? I don’t have the greatest credit at all but I do have a huge refund and have been pre approved for the loan but am worried I won’t get approved

I’m sorry that still didn’t answer my question fully. At all. No one will answer whether or not it is based off credit and if that even matters. I’ve been pre approved but that still doesn’t feel better

If you are pre approved and you accept the advance offer then there is nothing you can do but wait for the IRS to accept your return for processing and the processing bank to approve the advance.  The criteria they use is NOT published anywhere so your question cannot be answered.
