You have not asked a question. If you all live together then only one of you can claim the child on a tax return. Figure out your tax returns both ways and see which way ends up better .You said boyfriend--so you cannot file a joint return. If BF made more money then he is probably the one who should file as Head of Household and claim the child, You file Single--and nothing about the child goes on your return. But use the software to calculate it for each of you and see.
