Idaho residents, living in Texas on military orders. Do we qualify for the Idaho Grocery Credit? Does our Texas born daughter qualify as well since she is our dependent?
It will not let me change the residency for just our daughter so its saying she is an Idaho resident as well but I assumed she wasn't since she was born in Texas?

After you file
Yes, all of you qualify for the Idaho Grocery Credit.
Here is an excerpt from the Idaho Tax Commission regarding the credit:
- Any member of the United States Armed Forces who is domiciled in Idaho and otherwise qualifies is allowed the credit.
- The domicile of a dependent child is assumed to be that of the nonmilitary spouse.
So if you are both in the military or if the non-military spouse is also an Idaho resident, your child is an Idaho resident.
