How do I check to see if I filed a 8962 Form?

So I am re-enrolling my plan for 2020 in the ACA Marketplace and they are saying that it is possible that I didn't file this form.

How do I find out if I have filed this form and if I have not filed it how can I go about filing it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After you file

If you had health care coverage provided through one of the State Marketplace Exchanges or from healthcare.gov you would have received a Form 1095-A for the coverage.  When completing the Health Insurance section of the TurboTax program you were specifically asked if you received this form.  If you entered a Form 1095-A in the Health Insurance section of the TurboTax program, then the Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit would have been generated.  Look at your tax return.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

After you file

Ok ... form 8962 would have been generated and filed automatically when you entered the 1095-A  and if you failed to do so the IRS would have stopped processing your return and have sent you a letter requiring you to fill one out and return it with the 1095-A.   If you filed more than a month ago and did not get a letter you probably filed correctly.

Save a PDF of the return if you have not yet done so and see if the form is in the return...
