Note:  Every year, before mid-October, print a copy of your current year tax return and save it as a tax file and pdf, too.  That way you will have it when you need it for school, a loan, next year’s tax return, etc. without going through a lot of aggravation (and expense)  to get it.

I need to file my federal return from 2013.  I received a letter from the IRS that states they never received it.  How do I do that?

@ronsusan25 TurboTax does not support tax year 2013.

You can get free federal forms, schedules and instructions for prior tax years from this IRS website - https://apps.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/priorFormPublication.html

Or contact a local tax professional who can assist you with completing a 2013 federal tax return.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

In TurboTax Free Edition, you can purchase PLUS to unlock your prior-year .tax file.

The exact instructions will vary depending on the status of your 2018 TurboTax Online return (select one):
