Refunds take about 21 days after the IRS has accepted your E-filed tax return. Please see below for more information.

@Alancar1225    Did you efile, or did you print, sign, and mail the return?

If you efiled, double-check with this tool to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted:
https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp

If that showed it was accepted (or if you mailed the return), what do you see at the IRS website below for the status of your Federal refund?
https://www.irs.gov/Refunds
NOTE: When entering your refund amount, use only the Federal refund amount and not any total refund amount that includes a state refund. The figure is shown on your 2018 Federal Form 1040, Line 20a.

If that IRS tool shows that the refund has been sent, but you never received it, report back for more info.

If the IRS tool says it is still "being processed",  we can tell you how to speak to a live agent at the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay, and how to contact the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service if necessary.

OK, good.  That's one of the questions I asked.  Did you read the rest of the info I left you above?   If not, here it is again:

I called the IRS and they sent my refund back to Turbo Tax to minus the fees for preparing my tax return. So who can I talk to about getting my money from Turbo tax???

@haley harrell

Your tax refund was not sent to TurboTax.   TurboTax does not handle your refund at all.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com
