I need a complete copy my 2017 tax  return including schedules. I don't have a printer so I downloaded it in my computer but I could only see page 1&2 without schedules. I received a letter from IRS that we owe them $9000+.

>have Adobe Reader, its easy and free.

>Download as a txt file to somewhere accessible if you cant as a PDF.

>Go to your Computer/Program browser and right click on said txt file

>Select Properties

>Hit "Change..." across from "Opens With" Option.

>In Windows you need to hit the down arrow to select from more apps

>Select Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

Boom, PDF Viewable Tax Return, without going through all the BS to get it from the IRS.

I just got a notice from the IRS that I owe $10, 250. for 2017.  They have some mistakes, which I hope TurboTax can fix, since I did everything through them.  Help.

Note:  Every year, before mid-October, print a copy of your current year tax return and save it as a tax file and pdf, too.  That way you will have it when you need it for school, a loan, next year’s tax return, etc. without going through a lot of aggravation (and expense)  to get it.

You posted your question a week ago to an unrelated thread -- I happened upon your question by chance.  You have a serious issue and should have started your own new question so that someone would notice it and respond.

TurboTax does not receive any information from the IRS about your return after you have filed it, so no one at TT knows about the notice you received.  You have not given any other details about your IRS letter so it would be impossible to guess how to help.  Start your own new question and explain the letter you received.  What is the letter number or CP number?  What does the IRS say they changed or disallowed on your 2017 return?

@TriggerTazzz   You cannot have your 2018 return emailed to you.  You have to print it out for yourself.

PRINT RETURN   You need to print a copy of your return?  Sign in to your account using exactly the same account and user ID that you used to prepare your return.
On the bottom of the screen find Your tax returns & documents and click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

@dlewis5

You posted to someone else's unrelated thread with your problem, which went un-noticed until just now.  There are about two dozen kinds of 1099's, and we do not know what kind you are referring to.  Did you e-file a 2017 return--and was it accepted?   When you check the status of  your 2017 return in your online account does it show that the return was accepted, rejected, or does it say "ready to mail?"

It sounds like you have heard from the IRS and must owe some tax due, so you need to sort out what happened to your 2017 tax return.  I suggest starting your own new question that explains what the IRS is saying to you.
