I need help reading my 1040 form. I believe there was a mistake when it was submitted

Do you have a copy printed?  What lines do you need help understanding?

I received a letter from the IRS to fill out a couple of forms. As I started filing out form 8962 it works off form 1040. When I looked at my form the numbers don’t seem to reflect what I have written down at home. I believe there was an error and I would like to see what was entered as my income for the year and then how my AGI was calculated.

Is this for your 2018 tax return? Did you get a letter from the IRS requesting you mail or fax them form 8962 and 1095-A? If so, then did you use the online version of TurboTax? Or the CD/Desktop version of the program? Also, what is the form number of the letter you got? It's at the top and starts with "CP" or "LTR". This matters big time, because if the IRS did not specifically tell you to amend your return, then things need to be done in a specific and explicit way.

When you enter the 1095-A which populates the 8962 it will change the form 1040 naturally ... possibly changes will happen on lines 6, 9, 10, 12, 14 and/or 17.  Also review the sch 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6.
