Only the state tax agency will know what all they are doing with your state return.  Some states are quick with refunds, while others (such as GA, WV, CO, LA, MO, etc.) can take quite a long time--even several weeks--as they crack down on detecting fraudulent returns.

  However, we can tell you some things to check.

If you efiled the state return, use the tool below to be sure the state return was successfully efiled and accepted:
