Can I remove a state from my taxes?
I lived in North Carolina in 2016 until the end of August. I moved back home to Connecticut to deal with family deaths and issues and finish my degree. I have not had a job in CT so I have no income or tax. I have CT and NC in my taxes but I don't nee to file anything with CT. Can I take CT off my taxes and just file in NC? It's silly for me to pay $29.99 to file nothing.

After you file
Yes - if you don't need to file a Connecticut state return, you can delete a state return in TurboTax Online, as long as you haven't paid for it yet (or registered in a free version).
