Once IRS wires funds to either a personal account or to the Turbo Pre-paid Visa account, then the transaction time is normally the same. However, it does take 7-10 business days before you receive your Prepaid Visa card in the mail; with a personal account, you already have that in place. Also, you can order and receive the Turbo Visa card, before you ever receive your refund. So, it is totally up to you on how you decide.
