If your 1099-A is for personal property like your automobile or resident, you do not have to report but just keep it for your files.

However, follow the following steps in order to report your 1099-A
Make sure you are sign into your account
Go to Federal on the left tab
Select Wages & Income on the top tab
Scroll down until you get to Less Common Income
Locate the Miscellaneous Income Section and enter your 1099-A information there
