The following has been revised as of 1/08/21 at 7:26PM Pacific.  You may have been emailed the original a few minutes ago, but I had left out a step. I have now corrected the steps below.

 

Try the following.   Then once you are back in your account, be sure to update the phone number, etc. in the Security section of your Intuit Account profile.

 

  • Close your browser and delete any browser Internet cache.
  • Open the browser and go to the TurboTax log-in site, but do NOT log in.
  • Instead click on the link "Forgot User ID and password" (even if you know them.)
  • That takes you to the Account Recovery tool.
  • Do not enter anything there, but scroll down a bit and click on the blue "Try Something Else" link.
  • It should allow you account access based on some personal info.
  • Once back in, update your Intuit Account settings with your correct phone number, etc.  Access the tab to Intuit Account settings near the bottom of the left menu column.
