Received my tax forms back from IRS because I signed in the wrong place, can I now file it online instead of mailing it back?

I printed and mailed the 2020 tax return because I could not find my information for the 2019 tax return. I have found the information for 2019, can I now file the return form from IRS online?

Did IRS send you one page (form 1040) for signature?

IRS now has your return pending and they are waiting for your response with your name on the signature line.

(not sure how you can miss that ...)

You can try but since the IRS started processing your return so the efiling may be rejected.
