Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I filed several times and it keeps getting rejected.
What do I do
NOTE: Be aware this is an old thread from last year. The information above is for last year (2019 return) and contains some outdated information.
So are you referring to a 6-digit IP PIN (Identity Protection PIN?) And the rejection error message says it is because of an incorrect 6-digit IP PIN? And when you wrote that you had "tried everything," are you saying you cannot retrieve your 2021 IP PIN using an online IRS account at the IRS website at this link?
https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/get-an-identity-protection-pin
In that case, this is what the IRS says on their website:
"How to get your IP PIN resissued"
"If you're unable to retrieve your IP PIN online, you may call us (the IRS) at 800-908-4490 for specialized assistance, Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. your local time (Alaska & Hawaii follow Pacific Time), to have your IP PIN reissued. An assistor will verify your identity and mail your IP PIN to your address of record within 21 days.
Exceptions:
- If you’ve moved since January 1 of this year, or
- It’s after October 14 and you haven’t filed your current or prior year Forms 1040 or 1040 PR/SS."
The IRS goes on to say:
"If you file your return without your IRS assigned IP PIN"
- We’ll reject your electronic return and you won't be able to e-file
- We’ll subject your paper return to additional screenings to validate your identity, delaying any refund you may be due.
