I received a settlement check from a class action suit. The W-2 I received doesn't have a value for box 20. This has cause an error during the review for both federal and state. How do I correct this. I called the settlement group for information on what to put in box 20. They said they couldn't give tax advice and I would have to seek advice from TurboTax. I received two W-2's and one 1099-misc for this settlement. Please help.
