Need to add a w2 to your tax return, when and how depends on the circumstances:

• If it has not been efiled, see Where do I add or enter a second W-2?
• If it has already been filed, you need to wait until it is accepted or rejected.
• If it rejects, then you can add the W2 following the steps above.
• If it is accepted, then you will need to file an amended return after the money is settled.
