How do i take off the unemployment. i didnt have a job last year and when I clicked unemployment I thought it would include pua but it doesnt and i dont have 1099-g form.

I didnt get regular unemployment and idk how to find the 1099-g form or if there even is one. I only received pua.

Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Any PUA you received is unemployment compensation and is taxable on a federal tax return.  Your state will send you a Form 1099-G for all the unemployment compensation you received in 2020 by the end of January 2021.

Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Unemployment compensation is taxable on your federal return.  Enter your 1099G for unemployment in Federal>Wages and Income>Unemployment

Go through the screens very carefully to enter any federal/state tax you had withheld from the unemployment

You might need to get your 1099G from the state’s unemployment site when it becomes available in January.  You will need to use the same password etc that you use to certify for weekly benefits
