I file as self employed. However I worked one month for Krispy Kreme. When I try to enter my W-2 it's asking me for my employer ID, but I was an employee....
If you are entering the W-2 in the Personal Income section under the W-2 area, it will ask for the Employer name (Krispy Kreme), address, and Employer ID.
This is normal, just do not enter the W-2 in the self-employed section.
