I am a non expert but I believe the IRS will send both you and your parents a letter. If you file as an individual you should receive a stimulus check but if your parents claimed you as a dependent then you do not qualify to receive the stimulus. and your parents will not receive the $500 claiming you as a dependent. One of you need to file an amended return to correct this error.
