Why am I being charged twice AGAIN this year???? You refunded me one charge last year because it was an error. Why must this happen again? I don't want to hit submit tax until this is corrected.

Did you choose pay your fees out of your Federal refund? If so, that has an additional service fee.

Please check your fees with these steps and report what all it is charging you for:

Log in and open your return (if not already open.)
Once past the blue "Simple and accurate" screen, click at the top on MY ACCOUNT, then TOOLS.
In the Tools window, choose MY FEES.
What all is displayed there?

Since you chose to pay the TurboTax fee out of your Federal refund, there is a 34.99 service fee for that refund processing option.

You can remove that choice prior to filing and then pay the TurboTax fee upfront with credit card, debit card, or prepaid debit card you can buy in a store. Once removed, it should no longer charge you that 34.99. The method depends on your location. Here's how:

Non-California filers:
