Do you mean that you received the K-40 booklet?
This is the Kansas Individual Tax Return.
Do you either live in Kansas or have income from Kansas sources? In this case, do the following:
If you open TurboTax and add the state of Kansas to your return and go through the interview, TurboTax will create the K-40 with all the data on it for you. Much of the information will come from your federal return, and TurboTax will ask for any additional information that is required.

Turbo Tax is having me fill out a K-40 as a none-resident who works in KS. But it's stuck on the school district code. I don't live in KS, what do I put?

The K-40 Form is the Kansas Individual Income Tax Return. To file, you will complete the interview questions as they pertain to you. If you are not a resident of Kansas but earned income in Kansas, you will want to ensure you answered the questions correctly for residency. TurboTax will ask, "Did you make money in Kansas in 2022 but never live there?" If you are not a resident, you will want to select yes, eliminating the school district questions.
