Hi I just filed my 2017 return but they were not accepted yet. I have an ip PIN but was never asked to put it in. Do anyone know why? Is it a way to go back to put it?
I was thinking they was going to ask me at some point but they never did they asked me for my agi and PIN number 5 digits not the Ip pin

The IRS has discontinued the e-filing PIN option.To verify your identity for e-filing, you’ll need to use last year’s adjusted gross income (AGI). (The old e-filing PIN isn’t the same thing as the Self Select PIN or the IP PIN.)
