There are no second extensions. If you requested an extension on your federal tax return and live in a federally designated disaster area then you have until January 31, 2018 to file your 2016 tax return without penalty.

Any federal income taxes owed were to be paid on April 18, 2017 to avoid a late payment penalty and interest on the unpaid taxes.
