Can I claim my son on my taxes if he is not a full time student but lives with me?

Yes...he lives at home with me and he is 23 years old, he made less than 3,000.00 for the year...and I did provide most of his living expenses and support...so I can Claim him?

It depends.

If your son is under 19, then you can claim him as a qualifying child if you provided more than half of his support in 2018.

If your son is 19 or older at the end of 2018, then in general you cannot claim him as a qualifying child.

However, if he has lived with you ALL year, has earned less than $4,150 in 2018 and you have provided more than half of his support, then you can claim him as a qualifying relative.
