There
are several reasons a state might generate a 1099-G. Here are the two places to
enter in Turbo Tax.
- To
enter a 1099-G
- Please click on the
Federal Taxes tab, at the top.
- Then select, Wages
and Income
- You may see a
prompt for your 1099 but if not, click on
- Check for More
Income and See All Income
- Scroll down to Unemployment,
by the purple monitor icon, and click on Start

OR click on Show
More beside Other Common Income by the green $ money bag and
- Click on Start by
Other 1099-G income
