What you claim on your W2 doesn't have to match your tax return. If you were divorced by Dec 31 you can only file Single or Head of Household if you qualify. Just start filling out your return and pick Single.
Do you have an account from last year year? Don't use it. Start your own new account and do not Transfer from last year. Online is only good for 1 return. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. How to start another return in the Online version
