I filed taxes in Feb with an old W2. My employer removed it and stated they changed TID in September, so I just received two W2s. The numbers are the same. Do I Append?

By old W2 it was just the original TID. Then the updated number split the numbers. However, the two new W2 forms numbers add up to the numbers on the original W2.

As long as the numbers are the same and the results are the same, you do not have to file an amended income tax return.

You only need to file an amended income tax return if the additional information changes the outcome of your refund or the amount you owe.
