I'm not a qualifying child because I provide more than half support to myself. When my parents do their return on Turbotax, it is saying that even they can not claim me as dependent, they still can claim me for EIC and other tax benefit. I wanna make sure this is ok. In this case, when I fill my own tax return, can I answer that I can't be claimed by someone on their tax return?
