I've always been able to view my actual TurboTax-generated forms before I file to look for any errors. How do I do this this year? I have paid the TurboTax fees.

Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Yes. You can preview all forms and worksheets after paying your TurboTax fees, or you may preview your 1040 for free before filing.

To view all forms and worksheets:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax Online
  2. Click the orange Take me to my return button
  3. From the My Account drop-down at the top, select Print Center.
  4. In the pop-up, click the first option (Print, save, or preview this year's return).
  5. On the next page you'll see Your printing options
  6. Under Choose your option: select All forms, then click to View or print or Save to my computer

Or, to preview your 1040 (for free) before filing:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax Online.
  2. Next, click the orange Take me to my return button
  3. Click My Account at the top right
  4. Then, select Tools
  5. Once in the tool center, click on View Tax Summary
  6. Then, at the top in the white bar you will see "Back" and "Preview my 1040" - select Preview my 1040
