Minivan for Nanny / Babysitter
We are deciding between TurboTax and a CPA. We hired a nanny / babysitter, have made our tax payments. (100% legit with her)
My question: We bought a minivan for her to drive 100% of the time with our kids. What are our tax implications? She is the SOLE driver, we have our own cars. Can I write if off as an expense?

Get your taxes done using TurboTax
No. All of the driving and activities for driving the minivan are for your children which is a personal expense and not an allowable deduction.
The only miles that could be used is for medical doctor appointments or charitable miles if either of those apply. If those can be used on itemized deductions you could take those miles, but otherwise no personal use for the children would be deductible on the tax return.
