In TurboTax Home and Business to apply the Resident of a foreign country or US Territory penalty exemption do the following:
- Click Personal
- Click Federal
- Click Health
Insurance
- Select I'll
pick and choose which months
- Click Continue
- Select the Months you
had insurance and click continue
- Select Resident of
a foreign country or US territory
- Click Continue
- You will get a message saying
your penalty has been waived for those months you were not a resident
