I am expecting a refund this year, but I have yet to receive my K-1, which will show a small loss. With the filing deadline looming, do I need to file and extension?

Yes, you should file for an extension because you have not received your K-1 form.
However, you do not need to make a payment if you are expecting a refund.
To file an extension, click the File an Extension text found in the black column on the left.
