21 fulltime college student. parents pay all expenses except health insurance. I pay $250 a month. How do i count this as a deduction. parents will claim me for 2016.

All qualified education expenses paid out of pocket or with loans by anybody are claimed by whoever claims the student as a dependent. If the $250 per month paid for tuition and fees or books, parents can include what you spend on their tax return for education tax benefits.
