Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Yes, you can file a return on behalf of your daughter and if there is a refund, the IRS will issue it to the executor of her estate.
You will need to set up a different TurboTax online account, or if you buy the desktop software, you can do up to five returns. In Personal Info -Section 3 when you set up her return, the last question is "I'm preparing this return for [Name], who has passed away." Mark Yes to that question and enter her date of death. TurboTax will handle it from there. You may need to print a couple of forms to send to the IRS, along with a copy of her death certificate - TurboTax will let you know.
My condolences on your loss.
