How many days do I have to live in CT to qualify as a resident
I moved in November of 2015 from NY to CT. I started working in CT in September 2015 and maintain a part time job in NY. When I file, do I file as a CT resident for 2015?
No. You will not file as a CT resident for 2015 but you will have to file as a part year resident of CT if you intent to make CT your permanent residence.
You would need to live in CT for at least 183 days to be considered a resident of CT.
