@JeffTTx   That is correct.  You do not get live support from a CPA for desktop TurboTax Business.  The TurboTax Live feature is only available for the online software programs that are used to prepare individual income tax returns.

You can ask for customer support since it is a paid version of the software, but a CPA is not going to assist you in preparing your return.

I would love to know the real reason for not providing tax support to the Desktop/CD customers.   The technology is definitely there.  They definitely want you on the website for some reason.  There should be no difference between answering tax questions for a desktop customer and answering tax questions for an online customer.  That seems fishy to me.

@TaxHoney  I agree with you. They are all for us buying their business tax software as a download but do not want to provide assistance when it is needed. This is unfortunate and strange.  I'll have to search for another program.

No Turbo Tax Business was designed for a Company's Accountant to use for their Business taxes.   In fact ALL of Turbo Tax's products are designed for DO IT YOURSELF tax filing.   They do provide a way to talk with "accountants" (most of them are lower paid "tax assistants") if you do have specific questions but it's kind of like buying a wedding dress at David's Bridal.   It'll be a wedding dress and it will cheap, but it's not going to be the nicest dress in the world.   If you need an accountant to do your taxes, go pay an accountant to do your taxes.     The LIVE service is just a way for you to spend more money for a service that might be available when you need it.   Turbo Tax hopes to put CPA's out of business.
